GEICO keeps payment receipts in two places: the online policy portal and the paper mail‑out that arrives with your annual statement. If you log into your account, the receipt is saved as a PDF under the Payments tab.

Accessing the Receipt Online
1. Visit GEICO.com and click Sign In.2. Enter your username and password.3. Navigate to My Policy → Payments.4. Select the relevant payment and click Download Receipt. The file shows the date, amount, and payment method.
Requesting a Paper Copy
Call GEICO's customer service at 1‑800‑_GEICO_ (1‑800‑435‑6470). When you speak with an agent, ask for a paper receipt for the last payment. It will be mailed to the address on file within 5–7 business days.
What the Receipt Should Include
A complete receipt lists:
- Policyholder name and policy number
- Payment date and method (credit card, ACH, etc.)
- Amount paid
- Coverage period covered by the payment
- GEICO contact information
Common Issues and Fixes
If the online receipt is missing, verify that your account is linked to the correct policy. If you cannot log in, reset your password or contact support. For a lost paper receipt, request a duplicate via the portal or by phone.
Why Keep a Receipt
Maintaining a copy of every payment receipt helps with tax deductions, insurance renewals, and dispute resolution. Store digital copies in a secure folder and keep paper copies in a fire‑proof safe.
